Affiliate marketing is really a way to make money by “working” for others. It is a partnership between an Internet salesperson (you) and an Internet business. If you click here, you will be taken to a page that tells you everything about the affiliate marketing program that the site offers.
You will need to sign-up on the site to become an affiliate. After you sign up, you can start marketing the site or individual products/services on the site. You will be given a unique URL that you will tell people to click to go to and buy a product or visit a site. When they use that URL the site will know you sent them there and you will get credit for that.
Depending on the site and affiliate marketing program you join, you can earn as little as 2-3% commission on the sale of a product or you can earn up to 75% commission. In fact, there are some Internet Marketers that let their affiliates keep all the revenue (100% commission!) Every time there is a sale. There are many different tactics and strategies used by affiliates.
These tactics include buying pop-up ads on sites, writing articles, creating pages on social networking sites, creating storefronts, and much more. Some people earn thousands of dollars a day in affiliate marketing while others earn only a few dollars a month. But if you know what you are doing and you work hard you will earn a decent amount.
